Hi, I'm Kassi—the heart behind Wild Mae Photography.

I'm a Texas photographer, a proud single mama to my sweet little girl, Lila Mae, and someone who believes the best moments in life are often the simplest ones. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me behind a console as a 911 Dispatcher for my local agency, spending time with my daughter, soaking up the outdoors, or loving on our animals. My love for photography grew from a desire to freeze the moments that pass by far too quickly—the tiny hands that won't stay little, the laughter that fills a family, and the quiet glances between two people deeply in love.

Wild Mae Photography was built on the belief that every family has a story worth preserving. My style is inspired by wide-open fields, golden sunsets, country roots, and genuine connection. I want every session to feel more like an evening spent making memories than posing for pictures. Whether we're walking through a pasture, exploring a quiet trail, or watching your little ones run barefoot through the grass, my goal is to capture the moments that feel like home.

As a mom myself, I understand that life isn't always picture-perfect—and that's exactly what makes it beautiful. I know the value of preserving the little details you'll one day miss: the way your child reaches for your hand, the giggles between siblings, the proud smile after a milestone, or the embrace that says more than words ever could. These are the memories that become family heirlooms, and it's an honor to help tell those stories. As a mom, I also understand the fact that as moms we are the ones taking the pictures and never getting the pictures.
